Endometrial Polyps
The polyp is a lump or bump that is seen confined to the naked eye and is projected onto the surface of a mucosa. Furthermore, the endometrium is the mucus that coats the inside of the uterus (womb), consists mainly of highly vascularized tissue and glands.

Endometrial polyps are benign growths that form inside the uterus. They occur more frequently in women after menopause (removal of menstruation) Most of them are not dangerous but can be frightening because they often cause abnormal vaginal bleeding and abundant.

Causes
The causes that give rise. Because they are common after menopause, are thought to be caused by hormonal imbalances that occur in these people. They have also been associated with chronic infectious processes of the uterus and local congestion of blood vessels.

Events
Many of these patients have no symptoms, so the discovery was made by examining gynecological examination. When there are demonstrations, cardinal signs and symptoms are: abdominal pain (colic) that occurs between periods and bleeding. The latter can be heavy during menstruation, appear abnormally between periods or after menopause appear. Similarly, periods may become more frequent and far between.
