Smoke are at increased risk of stroke or heart attacks. Increased blood pressure is another danger of smoking. Smoking also reduces the levels of HDL  respiratory infections more often than nonsmokers. Snuff smoke is hazardous to nonsmokers. Exposure to smoke, also called passive smoking increases the risk of nonsmokers of having the same problems as smokers.

A nonsmoker, remain in a very smoky room for an hour with several smokers inhales as many bad chemicals if fumase which actually inhale 10 or more cigarettes.

One study showed that the rate of lung cancer among nonsmoking women depended on the amount of cigarettes, cigars or pipes smoked their husbands. Smoking affects pregnant women and their unborn children. Mothers who smoke have an increased risk of spontaneous abortion and stillbirth.
