
Good sleep is vital to have a full and healthy life. It is an essential physiological need for survival, but unfortunately, stress, overwork and accelerated life leaves us less time to sleep and to rest the body.
Not everyone needs the same hours of sleep, while some people need to sleep 8 to 10 hours a day, others five or six hours you’re feeling energetic enough to start the day.
Research on sleep and its disorders have been located, although there are exceptions, hours sleep a person needs according to age:
- An infant requires 11 to 12 hours of sleep a day. Almost just wake up to eat.
- A child between 8 and 10 years need to sleep 8 to 9 hours.
- An adult to feel good to sleep at least seven hours. Never mind that five hours of sleep you feel full.
- Older people need less sleep, which is why we see the old men who wake up too early or find it hard to sleep five hours they are ready, although it is understood because your daily activity is lower, therefore requiring less break .
The shortage or poor quality of sleep can lead to serious health disorders.
